Cloudwall is a digital asset startup dedicated to providing investors and asset managers with tools and insights to invest in the blockchain economy with confidence.

I designed the visual identity and a fully responsive website for the nascent venture. I kept in mind the founders’ vision while I looked to craft an identity that would represent possibilities and freedom.

☁️ Conviction and confidence

Cloudwall came to us with a noble vision - to provide asset managers and institutional investors with tools that help make sense of the volatile, unpredictable market of digital assets. They wanted their brand and product to be the voice of reason and optimism - a force that cuts through the hype. With this, they hoped to play their part in bringing the blockchain economy to life.

We drew from the founders’ vision of a sustainable, responsible company to come up with the logo and identity.

The logo is derived from the Enso, a symbol in Zen Buddhism which represents a moment when the mind is free to let the body create.

The story behind the name made me think of a force that could take any shape, create anything that could be visualised. I used bitmapping to deconstruct images, and bring this idea to life. This kind of image treatment evoked an openness to possibilities, a sense for energy, and an appreciation for healthy unpredictability.

I wanted to de-clutter the website so that it stood out from all the optical buzz that comes with most crypto websites. To me, this meant ample space, clean components, engaging visuals and sober colours.

Cloudwall has since launched their risk analysis product, Serenity, which offers actionable insights to asset managers holding digital assets in their portfolio. This allows them to stress test their portfolio in volatile market conditions.
